DuPont™ Kevlar® 49 Polyaramid Fibre is a strong, lightweight fibre from Goodfellow's extensive range of polyaramid products. With high tensile strength and modulus, as well as excellent thermal, chemical, and radiation resistance, Kevlar® 49 is widely used in ballistic protection applications. Other uses include reinforcing plastics, ropes and cables, sailcloth, and automotive components. As one of the strongest man-made fibres, Kevlar® brings unique properties to Goodfellow's diverse fibre catalogue.
