Grade 1 Titanium Coil - T 0.03mm W 200mm L 50m

Details

SKU: 1000071615 Product Code: TI00-FL-000200
Grade 1 Titanium Coil is a commercially pure titanium (≥99.5%) material known for its exceptional ductility, corrosion resistance, and low density. This unalloyed grade exhibits the highest formability and lowest strength among the ASTM titanium series, with excellent weldability and stability from cryogenic temperatures to 540°C. Key applications span chemical processing, medical implants, and aerospace systems. Specific uses include corrosion-resistant heat exchangers, anode baskets in electroplating, and flexible coil-wound surgical instruments. The coiled form provides efficient surface area deployment and manufacturability in continuous systems. Scientific research highlights its predictable response to laser shock treatments and structural stability under high deformation, revealing low porosity and favorable microplastic behavior. Its inert behavior and biocompatibility further reinforce its pivotal role in high-integrity components, especially where purity and adaptability are critical.
