Chromium Boride Powder (Cr₂B)
Chromium boride powder (Cr2B) is an inorganic compound from Goodfellow's range of powders. It has excellent hardness and wear resistance properties, making it suitable for applications such as cutting tools and abrasives. The powder can also be used as an additive to enhance the properties of other hard materials. With high melting point and chemical inertness, chromium boride is useful in high temperature coatings or composite materials requiring oxidation resistance.
