Hastelloy® X Spooled Wire is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy offered by Goodfellow in their extensive range of specialty metal wires. With 43 variations available, this high-performance alloy combines excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance with good tensile and creep rupture strength at high temperatures. Its exceptional thermal stability makes it well suited for use in furnace components, combustion tubes, and thermocouple sheaths exposed to oxidizing or reducing conditions up to 1150°C. Hastelloy® X Spooled Wire can also be found in glass molds, aircraft exhaust systems, and chemical processing equipment.
