Alumina Tapered Wall Crucible

Alumina Tapered Wall Crucible is a high-temperature ceramic crucible offered by Goodfellow as part of our extensive range of laboratory and scientific supplies. With 16 size available, these crucibles are made from alumina that is lightweight yet strong, with excellent thermal shock resistance. The tapered wall design allows easy removal of solidified melts. Alumina Tapered Wall Crucibles are ideal for laboratory applications like melting metals or calcining powders at temperatures up to 1800°C. Their high purity makes them also suitable for analytical sample preparation procedures.
