Alumina Round Shallow Straight Sides Crucibles are available in 16 variations in Goodfellow's range of crucibles. Alumina crucibles are made of aluminum oxide, which has high hardness, strength, and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. These properties make alumina suitable for use as crucibles in applications like melting metals at high temperatures or calcining powder samples. The round shallow straight-sided shape allows for the easy stirring of samples while heating. With a wide range of sizes to choose from, Goodfellow's Alumina crucibles can accommodate a wide choice of sample volumes for laboratory and industrial use.
