The Alumina Flat Bottomed Boat Crucible is part of Goodfellow's range of crucibles. With 21 variations available, this crucible is made from high purity alumina and can withstand temperatures up to 1800°C. Its high temperature resistance and inertness makes it ideal for processes like melting metals or calcining powder samples. The flat bottom design provides a large flat surface that gives good thermal contact for conducting heat into the sample. Alumina crucibles are an essential tool in many materials science laboratories and industrial facilities.
