25% Carbon Filled PTFE Film
The 25% Carbon Filled PTFE films from Goodfellow are a composite material that combines polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) polymer with 25% carbon filler by weight. This imparts enhanced mechanical properties like increased hardness and abrasion resistance compared to unfilled PTFE. The carbon filler also increases thermal conductivity. Goodfellow offers these composite films in 7 variations that differ in size, thickness, surface finish and other attributes to suit applications such as bearings, seals, gaskets and wear parts that require the chemical inertness of PTFE combined with improved strength and conductivity.
