1200 Aluminum Disk

1200 Aluminum Disk consists of ~99.0% aluminum, combining high resistance to atmospheric and chemical corrosion with good weldability and low mechanical strength (~85–100 MPa UTS). Its excellent workability and conductivity suit it for heat exchangers, cookware bases, HVAC finstock, and reflectors. Common applications include electrolytic capacitor shells, low-load connectors, and brazed fins for thermal systems. Its wide formability enables deep drawing and spinning, while its corrosion resistance supports acid-alkali storage experiments. Aluminum 1200 disks are often used in comparative electrochemical corrosion studies and light-duty thermal design tests. Their role in process simulation and alloying effect evaluations reinforces their value in academic and industrial aluminum innovation.
