Manganese Foil

Manganese Foil is a thin foil of manganese metal produced by Goodfellow. Available in 68 variations, it comes in a range of thicknesses from 25 to 200 microns. Manganese has a high tensile strength and is resistant to wear and abrasion. These properties means that it’s commonly used as a cathode material in batteries, as a depolarizer in dry cell batteries, and in the production of various manganese-based alloys. The wide variations in thickness we offer allow this foil to be tailored to specific industrial, scientific and engineering applications requiring a thin manganese layer or coating.
