Molybdenum Pellets

Molybdenum pellets are a form of molybdenum offered by Goodfellow within their range of molybdenum products. Molybdenum has a very high melting point of 2,623°C and maintains its strength, hardness and corrosion resistance at high temperatures. Molybdenum pellets are used industrially for heating elements in high temperature furnaces and in glass-to-metal seals where molybdenum's thermal expansion properties match well with borosilicate glass. Molybdenum's conductivity also makes it useful for cathode supports in X-ray tubes and in sputtering targets for thin film deposition systems. In pellet form, molybdenum provides a compact shape for convenient use in industrial and laboratory applications.
