Goodfellow introduces Aluminum Nickelide Powder (Al3Ni), an intermetallic powder with high strength and hardness. Its properties make it well-suited for use in high temperature applications. Within Goodfellow’s range of metal and alloy powders, Al3Ni provides exceptional oxidation resistance up to 1000°C. Potential applications for this powder include the manufacture of cutting tools and high-performance engine components. The addition of Al3Ni powder can enhance the strength and thermal stability of nickel-based superalloys.
