General Description:

General Description: Leather is a material we are all fairly familar with. It has a distinctive odor and tends to be used in a variety of products mostly in clothing and furniture. This product utilizes the waste leather generated from the production of items such as car seat covers and interior trim. The resulting waste leather is converted into short fibers and then added to a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) for subsequent processing.

This product offers the flexibility of utilizing polymer processing techniques to create items with the appearance, feel and smell of leather. It could also be argued that it makes it possible to produce items not traditionally possible in leather and to reduce the cost of mass produced items.

Applications: Seat covers, interior car trim, book covers, menu covers and basically applications where leather is normally desired.
